The 200L Rear Ladder assembly line produces two variants of the rear stub for the Toyota Sequoia SUV. Prodomax provided complete mechanical and electrical systems design, panel build and PLC programming, and robot integration of the complete system.
Seven  Cross Member sub-assemblies are manufactured with 26 robots in thirteen weld cells which incorporate part tracking and process controls via a distributed master controller system featuring self-diagnostics of the field I/O network.
Completed side rail sub-assemblies are picked up by material handling robot and loaded to the set station along with the cross members. The Rear Stub components are then transferred to marriage weld station using an overhead transfer system
The Main Line features 100% robotic welding of all joints with the full ladder assembly transferred between stations by a series of 450 kg capacity handling robots.
